Restoring Manufacturing to America

In the simplest of terms, the more times that money changes hands, more economic activity is acheived. When that money is exchanged within America, it adds to our own economy. Once    that money leaves our country, that is when our money is only marginally helping our economy, if at all. Let’s look at an example.

1. I earn a paycheck.

2. I purchase donuts from a bakery.

3. The baker pays to have his car serviced.

4. The mechanic buys mulch from a nursery.

5. The nursery has topsoil delivered.

6. The truck driver buys lunch at a diner.

7. The waitress gets her hair styled.

8. The hair stylist proudly purchases combs Made in America.

All of the above activity creates a bustling, local economy and allows several people to benefit financially.

Now, let’s look at another example.

1. I earn my paycheck.

2. I stop at a hardware store and purchase a tool Made in China.

3. The vast majority of the cost of that tool is sent to China.

4. Very few Americans benefitted financially to this purchase.

It really is that simple.
